The best offer for the card is:

  • Earn 50,000 BMO Reward Points after spending $6,000 within the first three months.
  • Earn 30,000 BMO Reward Points after spending $30,000 within the first six months.
  • Earn 40,000 BMO Reward Points after spending $75,000 within the first year.
  • Earn 6,000 to 30,000 BMO Reward Points for spending $6,000 within the first three months.
  • Earn 24,000 to 120,000 BMO Reward Points for spending an additional $24,000 within the first six months.
  • Earn 45,000 to 225,000 BMO Reward Points for spending $75,000 within the first year.

In the first three months, you can earn between 56,000 to 80,000 BMO Reward points.

In the first six months, you can earn between 110,000 to 230,000 BMO Reward points.

In the first year, you can earn between 195,000 to 395,000 BMO Reward points.

Earning Points

You will earn:

  • 5 BMO Reward point for every $1 spent on groceries, dining, gas, drugstore and travel.
  • 1 BMO Reward point for every $1 spent on all other categories.

You will also earn 25% bonus points if you have a supplementary cardholder.

Fees

Annual fee of $499.

Supplementary card fee of $99 per additional card.

There is a 2.5% foreign transaction fee on this credit card.

Summary

The BMO eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege Card has a very high spend requirement for their complete sign up bonus. However, if you spend extensively on travel, this credit card has the highest cashback rate for travel purchases.
